The Ripple Effect of Social Capital

I came across this article while putting together the Assist Social Capital e-bulletin (http://www.social-capital.net/signup.php).

The unforgettable Commencement Address by Paul Hawken to the Class of 2009, University of Portland, May 3, 2009

thornlie primary school social capital blog--presenting our work on georgia

There is a showcase on International Education at Hampden Park in Glasgow tomorrow. How did we end up exhibiting at it?

The International Education Officer in North Lanarkshire is Robert Dalzell. I considered his a distant role, mostly concerned with modern languages and mainstream European secondary education links. Technology and Social Networking

As quoted by the article 'Anti-social Networking' by Hilary Stout,"the question on researchers minds is whether all that texting, instance messaging and online social networking allows children to  become more connected and supportive of their friends- or whether the quality of their interactions is being diminished without the intimacy and emotional give and take of regular, extended face to face time" Do you think that the increase of technological networking has a negative or positive…See More
